Assevero has an immediate requirement for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support a client at Fort Meade.
The successful candidate will provide implementation and management of IT security related projects. The successful candidate will perform the duties of an ISSM such as reviewing and advising management about proposed Information Systems Security (ISS) plans and policies; promoting and enforcing information systems security policies within their assigned area of responsibility; overseeing all Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) under their purview to ensure they are following established information security policies and procedures and ensuring that they receive the necessary technical and security training to carry out their duties; proactively maintaining communications with DAOs regarding changes to the IS that could impact the IS certification and accreditation; reporting computer incidents in accordance with customer policy and procedures for handling computer security incidents.
The successful candidate will also support investigative agents in the investigations of information security incidents reported on ISs under their purview; provide analysis of current business processes and help to formulate continuous improvement initiatives for the C&A and Continuous Monitoring processes; devise metrics for collecting data to evaluate the performance of ISS processes.
This is a full-time position of indefinate duration. The minimum qualifications include 5+ Years of directly applicable experience, excellent communications skills, and a TS/SCI Security Clearance with Fullscope Polygraph.
